Home is where the farm is!

Austin Brown is a multi-generational farmer from the Magic Valley who grew up working with sugar beets, alfalfa and other commodities alongside his dad and brother. However, he dreamed of growing food that directly nourished the community.

Ashley, a Twin Falls native, has a passion for baking that grew into a 7 year small business of custom cakes and cupcakes out of their home kitchen while being able to stay home with their three girls Addy, Ella, & Raleigh.

BlueRock presented a combined dream for both Ashley & Austin to be an integral part of something so special to our community.

In 2015, the Regehr family made the dream of BlueRock Farm Market a reality. Now, the Brown family is excited to continue that legacy.

SPRING

is filled with planning, seeding, transplanting and contending with Mother Nature’s late frosts and high winds! Early harvests of asparagus, radishes, peas and bok choy get us excited for the new season! Vegetables grown in our greenhouses yield cucumbers, tomatoes, beets, carrots, peppers and onions! Then in late spring broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage harvests begin!

SUMMER

is a season of early cool mornings, hot days, much weeding, and the thrill of watching crops grow and yield delicious produce! Green beans, cucumbers and zucchini are at their peak volumes and sweet corn, tomatoes and melons are ripe and plentiful.

FALL

is a time of abundance. Our team puts in long hours of hard work harvesting nonstop while watching with satisfaction as truckloads of fresh quality produce leave the farm and head to market. As tomato and sweet corn harvests slow, pumpkin and winter squash harvests begin! Late October brings frost, which means the end of our field crops, and we begin the work of clearing out the old crop and prepping for the new year.

WINTER

- a chance to rest, and enjoy family time. We prep our farm for the new year, plan crops, and order seeds. Then by the end of January we are starting seeds in our greenhouses and we begin again!
